Livan Hernandez won two games in the 1997 World Series (Games 1 and 5), and was named WS MVP.  He was also NLCS MVP in the Marlins’ win over the Braves.  He was traded two years later.  Jason Grilli would be selected in the Rule V draft by the White Sox.  After Nate Bump was granted free agency, he never made the major leagues again, despite signing with the Giants, Tigers, and Phillies.
