Ok, so this is the last Cliff Lee trade.  As was pointed out by sean in the comments, we neglected to show Lee being traded from Seattle to Texas.
Both Beavan and Lueke are in AAA Tacoma.  Lawson was at AA Akron before being traded in March to Cleveland for Laffey.

Here is the combined trade tree of Ken Griffey, Jr. and Mark Langston that produced so many of the current Mariners.  The funny thing is Mark Langston was traded in 1989, the year of Griffey’s debut.  They were teammates for 40 games before Langston was traded.  Griffey was traded in July, 2008 - 9 years later - but their trees still came together.

Last week get got a request for Mark Langston being traded from the Mariners to the Expos.  Today we’re happy to present this tree.  Interestingly, the Mark Langston trade is the other half of the the Ken Griffey, Jr. trade that brought so many of the current Mariners to the club.  Freddy Garcia, directly descended from Langston, and Ben Davis, from Griffey, were traded together for Morse, Olivo, and Reed.  From those three players, there are seven players who are currently on the Mariners.  Check back later today, and we’ll put the two trees together.

In the 1981 offseason, Kansas City sent Manny Castillo to the Mariners for a player to be named later.  Buddy Black was sent to KC during Spring Training in 1982 to complete the trade.  Castillo spent two years in Seattle before being released.

On 10 February 2000, Ken Griffey, Jr. was traded to the Cincinnati Reds.  How have the Mariners fared since then?
